James quarshie idun biography books: Sir Samuel Okai Quarshie-Idun was
Humans of Ghana. Sir Quashie-Idun was born in and of both Fante and Ga parentage. He schooled in Ghana and later proceeded to United Kingdom where he studied law at Cambridge and qualified as a barrister. In having served as a district magistrate with impeccable record he was elevated to high court and later the Appeals Court of Western Nigeria.
As a result of his legal prowess, Sir Quarshie Idun was appointed as the chief justice of Western Nigeria and later as president of the East African Court of Appeal Sir Quashie Idun made the history as one of the voices that supported the idea of establishing Court of Appeal for the entire commonwealth instead of House of Lords for the UK and the Judicial Committee for Privy Council for the remainder of the commonwealth.
